Brand identity design people remember

Good identity work starts in a sketchbook and ends in a system: a mark, a type and colour palette, and rules that keep every touchpoint consistent as you grow.

Why we draw your brand in pencil first

Every identity we make starts as pencil sketches you can see and react to before any money goes into polished artwork. Seeing ideas early means you choose a direction with confidence, and we spend our time refining the right idea instead of perfecting the wrong one.

It is also how we have worked since 2009. More than 500 brands later, the sketch is still the fastest way to agree what a brand should feel like.

From a logo to a complete identity system

A logo on its own is not a brand. We design the full system around it: colour palette, typography, illustration or photography style, iconography, layouts and the small rules that make a brand recognisable even when the logo is not on screen.

Then we put it to work on the things you actually use: packaging, signage, company profiles, social media templates, presentations and your website. Everything is delivered with guidelines your team and other agencies can follow.

Packaging that wins on the shelf

Packaging has a few seconds to be noticed and understood. We design structure, labels and whole product ranges that stand out in their category, read clearly at a distance and survive print and production. Tea, food, beverage and consumer brands are a large part of our portfolio.

Guidelines your team will actually use

Brand guidelines often end up as a PDF nobody opens. We write ours to be used: short, visual, with clear examples of what to do and what to avoid, and ready-made templates for the things your team makes every week, such as social posts, presentations and sales documents.

For larger organisations we build the identity into a design system with shared components for your website and apps, so designers and developers use the same building blocks and the brand stays consistent as more people work on it.

Logo design and brand identity in Colombo

Sri Lankan brands often need to work in English, Sinhala and Tamil, on a supermarket shelf and on an export pallet. We design bilingual and trilingual logotypes, local packaging that meets printing realities here, and identities that look at home in Colombo and in overseas markets.

What you get

Questions we hear often

What do we receive at the end of a branding project?

Master logo files, a colour and type system, brand guidelines, and templates for the channels you use most.

Can you refresh our brand without starting over?

Yes. Many projects are evolutions that keep the equity you have built while fixing what no longer works.
